    Miyuki Kazuya, of the sun arcana

    "Somehow, you don't strike me as the usual sun arcana type. You sure you didn't draw the wrong card?"

    His petulant remark sounds incredibly rude and uncalled for, even to Oikawa's own ears, and to someone he met just literal minutes ago, too. Uncomfortably bites back his words, chews lip. What's gotten into him?

    The bespectacled stranger merely grins in return, smirk lifting sharply. "And you're a textbook sample of the lovers arcana, all the way down to your toes, I'm sure." Eyes flick from his face and down the length of his body, and up again. Their grin twists in a mockery of appreciation.

    Oikawa finds himself bristling. /What an asshole/

    He expresses as much, with an obscene hand gesture (the stranger laughs) and turns away-

    And surveys the scene of carnage they had wrought.

    Well, their destructive power was certainly very reminiscent of the sun arcana, if not as conventionally wielded, Oikawa grudgingly assents, recalling how they had arrived. Wreathed in a halo of flames like a vengeful saint, it had taken just one bristlingly effective twist and flick of their fiery whip, for them to lay absolute waste to the monsters. It had been gorgeously brutal; it had been kind of hot. (hah)

    It had also been disgusting - Oikawa gingerly wipes at the shadowy muck slashed across his face. Urgh.

    "It's a good look." Of course, the other is spotless. Go figure.

    What an asshole.

    I wish I did /something/ to protect him. I wish I stayed. But I didn't."

    "I'm glad you didn't."
    The ogre swallows guiltily.
    "Because you would have been died, and that would have been awful."

    I did not draw from references, nor have I read jojo7, it's 2 hours to round finish, we die like men.

    Teshima as Gyro Zeppeli

    "Teshima Junta," Koga thinks, "is the biggest faker."

    He watches idly, as Teshima snarl-grins at their latest encounter, eyes wide and wild under the brim of their ridiculous hat, beckoning, baiting for the thrill.

    Baring golden teeth (fake, fake, fake), proudly bearing the Zeppeli name. (Even Faker; Koga doesn't believe for a second, Teshima's tall tales of being a long-lost Zeppeli descendant.) (Yet here he still is, play-acting along to Teshima's tune, of mythical heritage and invisible gods.)

    Teshima promises a good fight to their newly-turned opponent, and Koga.

    Koga sighs and grudgingly moves to stand by his side.

    One of these days, all of Teshima's (delusions) cunning won't get them out of these messes Teshima keeps inviting, and they'll be dried dead corpses, left in the desert as food for the buzzards.

    For now, they're in this together, to the very end.
